Our team has been busy preparing for a new normal once we return operations in our facilities. As we continue to ensure the safety of all our team members, we have implemented several COVID-19 Workplace Guidelines that will help further prevent the spread of the virus. These guidelines were created with the intention of maximising safety protocols for every member of your team within the leniency and flexibility provided by the current Alert Level in Metro Manila. Please refer to the following guidelines for an overview of what the new normal at HGS will look like.

HGS will provide and implement the following procedures:

Wear face mask at all times.

Observation of respiratory etiquette is a must.

Eating in the pantry is now allowed but with social distancing.

Health declaration upon entry prior to your shift will still be required.

Wear your facemask immediately after eating and dirking. Avoid talking without your face mask on.

Do not report on-site when feeling unwell. You may reach out to your assigned CSS or Admin Company Nurse Consultant on duty for verification and consultation.

Frequent hand hygiene. Hand sanitizers/alcohol are made available in strategic areas.

Rapid testing will no longer be done on-site.

High touch areas are frequently disinfected but still practice hand washing/disinfecting as frequently as possible.

What to Expect in Areas Under Alert Level 1?

All workplaces may now operate 100% capacity, consistent with national issuances on vaccination requirements for on-site work.

Social distancing is no longer enforced but staff will need to wear mask.

The company may implement stricter testing protocols for unvaccinated staff. Our building management requires a negative RTPCR test result upon entry in the building for unvaccinated individualists.

Isolation rooms, foot baths, contract tracing and written declaration forms are no longer required. However, the use of digital contact tracing such as StaySafe.PH application is optional.

On treatment, close contacts, asymptomatic confirmed cases and mild to moderate confirmed cases shall be managed at the primary care level, such as health centers, private clinics thru face to face or teleconsultation, while confirmed cases with severe and critical symptoms shall be managed in the appropriate health care facility.

A Covid patient may be considered recovered and may report back to work if they have completed the isolation period, improved symptoms, and no fever for the past 24 hours without taking anti-fever medications.

Contact tracing will be the responsibility of the individual.

If someone tests positive for Covid-19, the person shall be responsible for informing their close contacts.
